National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS)

NTAS Alerts (National Terrorism Advisory System) are alerts issued by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to inform the public, agencies, and first responders about credible terrorist threats, replacing the old color-coded system. These alerts provide details on threats, protective measures for the public, and actions for communities, expiring automatically but with potential extensions, encouraging vigilance and reporting suspicious activity via the "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign.
